Well well, the fruits of labor. After moving all the rooms, disrupting my house for two weeks, sweating my butt off, and eating out a lot because we couldn’t reach the stove, check out the look on Claire’s face. Her room is mostly done (sans the curtains she pulled down playing in her room — she told us Dora & Raggedy Ann were trying to escape to the cave below).

The other day Donna bought Claire her first big girl mattress (do you know how much those things cost?!), and yesterday we got her a sheet set. Donna explained the sheets to Claire last night near bed time, and Claire got very excited. She immediately crawled into bed, snuggled down, and stayed there! No coming into the living room, no calling out "Babci, I need yyyooooouuuuuuu!". Nothing.
